  2. Sports (including College of Physical Education).
  3. Youth Welfare.
  4. Art and Culture.
  5. Ancient and historical monuments and records and archaeological sites and remains, declared by the parliament by Law to be of national importance and other archaeological sites and remains.
  6. Museum and other similar institutions.
  7. All Academies and allied institutions.
  8. National Cadet Corps and Auxiliary Cadet Corps.
  9. Budget and Plan.
  10. Control of all officers and employees, regulation of appointments, determination of service conditions etc if the   department and institutions under its Control.
  11. Administrative Charge of all buildings occupied by the Department.
  12. Acts and Rules relating to youth, Art and Culture.
